Farmhouse Bathroom Makeover Under $100

4:00 AM

Creating a bathroom you love while your rent is hard. I can't rip out the tiles, change the tub, sink or mirrors, but I can make it my own with decor. I have been loving the farmhouse look for a really long time now and thought it would make my small and otherwise drab bathroom look somewhat chic and modern.

Inspiration

I was first inspired by what I was seeing on Pinterest, of course. I think every one of you can relate, right? I knew there was only so much I could do, but finding the right accessories would make all the difference. I opted to keep it relatively neutral because I have this overly bright yellow tile. I figured that could be the main color....since I didn't have a choice.

After putting together images that represented what direction I wanted to go in, I was off to find everything. I knew I didn't want to spend a bunch of money because, after all, saving money is what I love to do. This sometimes makes it harder than it has to be, but I was able to find a lot of what I wanted for reasonable prices. (You'll never see me paying $100 on something from Pottery Barn!)

The Mood Board

Bathroom Mood Board

Black and white seemed to be the way to go and before I knew it, I was putting my bathroom together. Not everything in my mood board above made the cut. I opted to create my own bathroom wall art since I had frames hanging up already that I didn't want to get rid of. I also nixed the purple lavender and chose a white lavender instead. I think it looks a lot prettier.

I made my own wreath instead of purchasing one. You can check out my Magnolia Wreath tutorial if you want to do the same.

Here's a few pictures.

You can purchase either of these typography prints in my Etsy shop!

Where To Shop

You can shop my bathroom look below. Most of what is there is exactly what I purchased. Amazon has an amazing selection of farmhouse decor that is so much cheaper than anywhere else! It's one of my favorite places to shop!
