There are a couple of months left of winter for a lot of us and what better way to add a little bit of coziness and enjoy it than by adding hygge to our daily life. This post will show you a few simple ways to take everything in stride and enjoy this winter season.
Load Up On the Pillows
Add plenty of pillows to your home for a comforting touch. You can do this in small spaces around your home or in one of your favorite lounge areas for the ultimate cozy feeling.
Create A Reading Nook
Adding a space to your home where you can snuggle up and read a good book is key for a truly relaxed environment and comforting feeling.
One of my favorite ways to create a soothing and relaxing atmosphere is to light a few candles. You can use either scented or unscented candles and let the light dance around.
Gather By Candlelight for A Meal
The holidays may be over but there's no reason to stop getting together with friends and family. A sense of love and coziness will come when you have the ones you love around you for a hearty, delicious meal by candlelight.

Whether you choose a chunky knit throw or a nice faux fur blanket, get yourself warm and cozy in your favorite space.

Turn an ordinary bath into a spa moment with candles and bubbles. You can also use this time to read your favorite book!
When it's cold outside, gathering around a warm fire can be so calming and cozy that it's hard to beat. Add a few friends and family and you'll have a memory to keep forever.
Add a slow cooker meal to your regular menu plan each week to take you from the fast-paced weekday life to an easy-going, relaxed weekend. It is one of my favorite things to do in the winter months.
