Mini Coffee Filter Wreath Tutorial

12:00 AM

I've finally decided to make my own coffee filter wreath. They have been around for a while and although it has been on the top of my to-do list, I didn't know where I would put it until now. This tutorial will be short, sweet and to the point.

It is super easy to make and will probably take you about an hour compared to the larger version.

What You Will Need:

  • Foam Floral Ring
  • Ribbon
  • Glue Gun & Many Glue Sticks
  • Coffee Filters (1 pkg. of 150 should be okay.)

Start by bunching the center of the coffee filter towards the middle. It should look something like this. Then flatten the bottom.

Place an ample amount of glue on the ring where you want the filter. Press and hold filter to the ring for a moment to make sure it sticks. Be careful not to burn yourself. Do this until your wreath is filled in. I placed the filters close together, but you can space them slightly farther apart if you choose to.

I cut a piece of ribbon to hang it. I glued the ribbon to the back of the ring. You can tie it around the ring if you prefer. Don't pay attention to the amount of glue stuck to the back. The glue gun and I got into a few fights. LOL!

And that's it! Your wreath is done and looking gorgeous. You can then decorate it with flowers or letters. You can even spray paint if, but I like the look of it in white. After it hangs for a while, I'm hoping it turns a nice rustic tan.

Stay in the loop!
